Step into the bustling streets of Bangkok, Hanoi, and Tokyo — without leaving the kitchen. In this exciting and interactive Asian street food workshop, you’ll learn how to prepare authentic dishes that combine intense flavors, fresh ingredients, and aromas that will awaken all your senses.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an avid foodie looking for a new culinary challenge, this workshop takes you through every step — from preparing aromatic marinades and spice pastes to quick wok-stirring and assembling dishes that look and smell like they were served on the streets of the Far East.
You will master the preparation of several iconic dishes of Asian street cuisine, such as:
- Pad Thai – classic rice noodles with peanuts, lime and fresh vegetables
- Gyoza – Japanese stuffed dumplings baked to a perfect crisp
- Spring rolls – light and fresh spring rolls with aromatic sauces
Our chef will reveal to you the tricks on achieving the ideal balance of flavors – sweet, sour, salty, spicy and umami – and how to choose and combine the ingredients that make Asian cuisine unique.
At the end of the workshop, you will not only take away new knowledge and recipes, but also the taste of a real Asian street on your own plate. 🌶️🥢
What You’ll Learn:
- Recognition and use of key ingredients (soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, fish sauce, chili paste...)
- Introduction to umami – how to achieve the perfect balance of flavors: salty, sweet, sour, spicy and bitter
- How to make authentic flavor bases: curry paste, teriyaki, hoisin, sriracha
- Priprema umaka za wok i spring rollse
